In these types of questions, you have to study a given number, alphabet series or data related to ranks (position) and answer questions based on that. Usually, the questions are based on finding a particular pattern or finding rank of a particular person.
The topics based on age, directions, clock, arrangement etc. are found in logical reasoning. Typical 11 Plus exam papers have not shown much presence of these topics. But these are being asked in 2nd stages of certain exams and also in UKMT maths challenges. Typically, in such type of questions, the question stem contains a number of instructions regarding the movement of a person.
